Tandem Skydiving

If you are a thrill seeker looking for a new adventure but are do not have the time to commit to learning to skydive solo then why not try tandem skydiving. This involves jumping out of the plane with a skydiving instructor strapped to your back so that you can enjoy the free fall down to earth without having to worry about being in control of the parachute. These dives can range between 30 seconds and 40 seconds depending on where you go and the cost varies too.

For those of you who are just looking for a tandem jump, then there are approximately 20 operators for you to choose from. In Cape Town, Cape Extreme offers tandem jumps and great packages. For those thrill seekers looking for somewhere in Gauteng, why not try Go Skydive SA based in Johannesburg, Skydive Joburg, Adventure Skydives, Icarus Sky, or the Pretoria Skydiving Club. For those of you who live elsewhere in the country have no fear, you can get the same thrill that those in Johannesburg and Cape Town have to offer with skydiving operators and schools based in Durban, the Eastern Cape such as Mossel Bay and Oudtshoorn.
